Beginner competence definition

At the beginner level, an individual is able to understand the importance of corporate strategy, including its role in achieving long-term success. They can identify the key components of a corporate strategy, including the mission statement, vision, and values, and their respective importance. Additionally, they understand the steps involved in creating a corporate strategy, including gathering information, analyzing data, and developing a plan.

Intermediate competence definition

At the intermediate level, an individual has experience in developing and implementing a corporate strategy. They’re able to conduct research, analyze data, and evaluate industry trends to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing the company. They can also develop and communicate a strategic plan that aligns the company’s resources and capabilities with the external environment. Additionally, they can track and measure the performance of the strategic plan over time.

Advanced competence definition

At the advanced level, individuals are experts in developing and implementing a corporate strategy. They have experience working with senior executives and key stakeholders to develop and implement a strategic plan. They can manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. We have found that they also have experience in developing contingency plans and adapting the corporate strategy to changing business conditions.
