Meet Blake Proberts,

course creator, facilitator and Co-Founder, CEO of Acorn

“I believe it’s never too late to master a new skill or that an organization is too busy to invest in their people, which is why L&D linked to performance is exactly what we do both in practice and as a service at Acorn.

“Some of our achievements include leading my team through Acorn’s implementation in 70 Federal Government agencies, the creation of shared services platform Learnhub, and two new SaaS products.

“So, why this course? At the time of writing, we have a capability-building feature that is the only digitized, AI-enabled, capability-building product on the market. This has given me first-hand experience in seeing how to enable capability building across many organizations.”

Meet Ben Satchwell,

course co-creator and facilitator

“I feel fortunate to have worked for companies like CEB (who you may know as the originators of the HIPO research and the HR Leadership Council), Gartner, and now Acorn. All companies that have been actively enabling capability building in organizations.

“Working at these organizations, I feel like I got the cheat code or a mini-MBA in capability building for our customers, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share my learning supplemented by research on leading thinking.

“I am a big believer in giving back to an industry that has given me so much. All in, the creation of this course with my wider team took 7 months from start to finish. The fact we are in a position to make this available for free makes me super proud.”
