Act with integrity
Acting with integrity means doing the right thing, even when it may be difficult or unpopular. This means being honest, fair, and ethical in all of one’s actions, and treating others with respect and dignity. Acting with integrity also means being accountable for one’s actions, and taking responsibility for the impact that they have on others. In short, it means being true to one’s own values and principles, and consistently doing the right thing.
Beginner competence definition
A beginner in acting with integrity may struggle to understand the concept of integrity and its importance in the workplace. They may lack the ability to consistently make ethical decisions and may not fully understand the impact of their actions on others.
Intermediate competence definition
Intermediate-level individuals, in acting with integrity, have a good understanding of the concept of integrity and its importance in the workplace. They can consistently make ethical decisions and can recognize and address ethical dilemmas. They have developed some level of emotional intelligence, and can use this to understand the perspectives of others and make fair and just decisions.
Advanced competence definition
Advanced-level individuals have a deep understanding of the concept of integrity and its importance in the workplace, and consistently make ethical decisions, recognizing and addressing ethical dilemmas, and effectively communicating the reasoning behind their decisions. They possess a strong sense of self-awareness, and can navigate through complex ethical situations with confidence and poise. They have a deep understanding of the impact of their actions on others and are able to inspire and lead by example in fostering a culture of integrity within their organization. Their strong moral compass enables them to make ethical decisions even under pressure or in difficult situations.
