How long does implementation take?

Most teams are live within 4–8 weeks. That includes setup, branding, and migrating your initial content. You’ll have a dedicated Customer Service Representative guiding you through a structured rollout so nothing stalls.

Can we migrate our existing training content and learner data?

Yes. We support migration of SCORM, xAPI, and PDF content, along with historical learner records and completions. We also have an API that can be leveraged for migrating other data points, and batch upload is available for bulk imports.

How does Acorn handle data security and privacy?

Acorn is SOC 2 Type II compliant and adheres to GDPR standards. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and uptime is supported through a Service Level Agreement (SLA). We offer multiple data regions, which supports customer privacy and data residency requirements.

How is Acorn priced?

Acorn’s pricing is structured around how you use the platform.

– Internal: full-use licensing. Users can be suspended at any time, which removes them from the full-use count while retaining their learner history.
– External: usage pass model. Unlimited users, and you only pay for those actively using content, with 30 days of unlimited usage per active user.
– Discounts: volume and contract-term discounts are available to all customers.
– Modular licensing: you can license only the modules you need.

Does Acorn support SSO?

Yes. We support SAML and Acorn SSO to keep access secure and simple for your users. Manual and batch upload are also supported, and each tenant in an account can use a different authentication protocol—for example, one tenant on SSO and another on manual upload. Some tenants can also whitelist user domains and flag erroneous user entries.

Can we white-label the platform with our own branding?

Absolutely. You can fully brand the platform at both the tenancy and cohort level, no developers required. Our widget concept lets you go further and customize interfaces for all users, specific users, or groupings and cohorts across various parts of the application.

How does Acorn handle compliance training?

Compliance content can be mapped to roles, departments, and locations, so the right people are assigned the right training automatically. Enrollments, due dates, and reminders are managed through automated workflows to reduce manual effort.
